Cordoba, believed to be the most populous city in the world in the 10th century, was capital of the Caliphate of Cordoba. Under the Caliphate of Cordoba, Al-Andalus was a spring of learning, and the city of Cordoba became one of the leading cultural and economic centers in Europe and throughout the Mediterranean Basin and the Islamic world.

Nowadays, Cordoba has the most extensive historical heritages in the world declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The most important building and symbol of the city is the Great Mosque of Cordoba that is the current cathedral, and together with the Roman bridge, are the best known interest points in the city. Also, the Jewish quarter, home to one of the three significant synagogues remaining in Spain, is the best-known part of Cordoba’s historic centre.

For this tour, a 5* air conditioned bus will pick you up from your location or from an agreed meeting point very close to where you stay and will take you to the final destination. The pick-up hour will depend on your location so we’ll tell you the exact hour when you book the tour. On the way, you’ll have a guide who will provide useful information in different languages. On your arrival, the guide will tell you the schedule and the final meeting point. After the tour is over you will have some free time but it is very important that you respect the meeting hour for departure. The group will reunite again at the meeting point at the agreed hour for departure and the bus will take you back to the initial pick up point next to your home.
