Like anywhere else, when you want fresh local products, you go to the market. Marbella area offers a large variety of markets, in different places throughout the week, so you can choose the one closer to you. Keep in mind that not all markets are the same, below you can see a short description of each one, so you can decide which one best suits your needs. The biggest markets are Monday Street Market (Mondays), San Pedro Market (Thursdays) and Nueva Andalucia Artisan Market (Saturdays).
- Marbella Ecological Market
This market take place the first Saturday of each month, from 10:00 until around 14:00, in the central park in Marbella, Alameda Park. Here you can find local businesses and farmer products.

- Marbella Artisan Market
The market is set up every Sunday in the Port of Marbella (Puerto Deportivo de Marbella). Here you’ll find antiques, handmade items, jewelry, paintings and is more an artisan market. It starts around 12 at noon until 18:00.

- Monday Street Market
Marbella’s largest market takes place every Monday, from 9:00 AM until around 14:00. Here you can find more that three hundred stalls selling clothing, jewelry, textile, books and here you also have an area where you’ll find local fruits, vegetables or flowers.
The only problem here is the parking, you can find a parking place in the industrial area near by or if you go early you can find parking places in an open park place next to the market.

- San Pedro Market
Every Thursday in San Pedro you have a general market, from where you can buy fresh fruits and vegetables. Here you’ll find mostly local products at very good prices. The market opens around 9:00 until 14:00.

- Nueva Andalucia Artisan Market
One of the biggest flea markets around Marbella is held every Saturday from 9:00 until 14:00 in Puerto Banus, next to the bullring. Here you can buy everything from clothing to paintings, furniture, textiles, etc. There are not many food stalls, so if you are searching for local vegetables and local fruits then the Monday market in Marbella is for you.
Around this market you also have cafes, bars and restaurants so you can spend your whole morning there shopping.

- Zoco del Sol Market
This market takes place every day in the summer (from around 11:00 AM until late in the night) in Puerto Banus, in Plaza Antonio Banderas, between the port and the El Corte Ingles mall. During the rest of the year the market is set up only on Saturdays. Here you can find clothing, all kind of handmade objects, jewelry, etc.

- Funny Beach Market
This is more of a second hand market that opens every Sunday during summer from 11:00 until 17:00 and is set up inside an amusement park (Funny Beach) in Marbella East. The market is right next to the beach and here you can find local people selling all kinds of thing, from clothing, jewelry, books, toys, etc, most of them second hand at very good prices.
Being in the location of an amusement park your kids can be easily entertained with karting or different workshops and you also have a bar for drinks or some tapas. Parking is available inside the park.

- Organic Market in Elviria
This is more like a farmer’s market that opens first Saturday of the month, between 10:00 and 14:00, and is set up by the Ecological Guadalhorce Association that is a non-profit organization that gathers producers and consumers of organic products so buying here feels like picking fresh vegetables and fruits directly from the farm.
Parking around the area should not be a problem.
